Seniors:  Please complete a final transcript request in Guidance.

 

All library books are due immediately. Please return them today. Seniors: several of you still have library books checked out. You must return them today and clear your accounts before graduating. All teachers have a copy of the overdue list if you need to check it, or you can stop by and see the librarians today. 

 

AP late testing will be this Wednesday through Friday.  If you registered for a late test report to Guidance ten minutes before your scheduled exam.  The exam schedule is posted outside of Guidance.

 

The Rock Band will be playing at the blue coast burrito in Smyrna at 6 pm tonight. Come cheer on their last performance of the year and eat some delicious tacos!!

 

Your Central baseball team beat Smith Co 5-4 to win the 8AA district championship. Wes Duffield got the win in a complete game effort striking out 5. Dylan Jenkins led the offense going 2/3 with a double and 2 runs scored. The Tigers will host Chattanooga Christian tonight at 5:00 in the region semi-final. Come out and support your Tigers!

 

There is a parent information meeting for all Middle School girls interested in playing soccer for the 2017-2018 season tonight in room 226 at 6:00.  If anyone has any questions, please contact Coach Ruess.

 

There will be a HS girl's soccer interest meeting this Evening at 6pm in the senior cafeteria.  If you intend to play your should attend.  Preseason starts in June.

 

Please congratulate your CMS archery teams for their outstanding showing at the National Tournament in Louisville, KY this past weekend.  The MS team ranked 59th out of 242 teams and the HS team ranked 22nd out of 248 teams.  Individually, Kayleigh Corban and Alison Blanton finished in a 5  person tie for 8th place out of 2,150 HS female archers with a score of 293 out of 300 and Connor Smathers finished in a 6 person tie for 3rd place out of 2418 HS male archers with a score of 296 out of 300, but was awarded 6th place after a shoot off to determine places 3rd through 8th for the awards.  Both teams qualified for the World Tournament in Orlando, FL on July 20th to 22nd.
