John’s Hopkins University will visit College Corner on Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 12:30-1:30.  Stop by and see them!

 

 

Attention High school art club members-

stop by Mr. Greenwell's classroom today- if you have not already voted for class officers- last day to vote is today!

 

All middle school students interested in membership in Jr Beta need to go to the Jr. Beta site on the Central Student's Club and Activities tab to access the application.  All submissions must be made by the end of the day on Friday, September 1.  Please remember that current members should also use this application for updating information.

 

 

The Garden Club will meet tomorrow in the gym during club time.

 

        

There will be a high school tennis parent meeting in Room 336 in the annex on Wednesday, 8/30/17, from 5PM to 6PM.  This is for returning high school tennis players and parents only.  Anybody that has not met Coach Taylor yet, please find him and introduce yourself.  Tryouts for boys and girls tennis will be in October.

 

 

The Middle School Girls Varsity soccer team lost to Siegel Middle 4 to 2.  Ashleigh Clark and Hope Clark each scored a goal while Sydney Cuneo and Zoe London each had an assist.  Ashlyn Jones had 7 saves.

 

The JV also lost to Siegel by the score of 3 to 0.  Mikalya Harris and Maddie Degnan each had 3 saves.

 

 

The Central Girls Golf team defeated Blackman 168-173 at Champions Run yesterday. Katelyn McDaniel's 81 led the way, while Ellie Stephens shot an 86. The girls remain undefeated this season.



The Central Boys team dominated Blackman 327-383. Steven Chan led again with a 77, while Austin Wright shot a 78. The boys improve to 3-1 in district play. 

The Tigers face Oakland next Thursday at Cedar Crest. 

 

 

The high school girls soccer team traveled to Pulaski last night and tied Giles Co. HS 2-2.  Brooke Dugan and Ella Chesney each scored a wonderful goal.  Madison Beckman had two assists in the match.  The Lady Tigers will travel to Nolensville to continue district play on Thursday.
