Applying to SNHS

• New member applicants can also apply to be an officer.
• Any new members that apply for an officer position will have their new member application reviewed first before being considered for an officer position.
• If a new member applicant does not meet the minimum requirements to be a member, their officer application will not be considered.

1. Membership is an honor bestowed upon a student.
2. A member must be in the last two years of secondary school education.  
3. A member must have an overall 3.0 GPA
4. A member must have a science GPA of 3.5
5. A member must have taken at least one Advanced Honors science or above class prior to their Junior year.
6. A member must taken at least two Advanced Honors science classes or above prior to their Senior year.
7. A student who transfers to Central Magnet School in his or her junior year must complete one academic year at Central Magnet School to be considered for membership. 
8. A member must maintain behavior that is acceptable to the guidelines of Central Magnet School. 
9. All members must attend one local chapter officer’s lecture annually.
10. ​Regular members may give a lecture with the chapter advisor’s approval.
