Juniors and Seniors wanting to earn the Seal of Biliteracy: Wednesday November 1st is the deadline to register and pay for the AAPPL and ALIRA exams.  See Ms. Dixon with any questions. 

The library will be closed beginning at 10:30 on Friday, November 3rd through the end of the day on Tuesday, November 7th. Make plans to print and check out your books before Friday, November 3rd. The library will open again on Wednesday, November 8th at 7:30. 

High School Class T-shirts are now on sale!  You can purchase your class shirt using the link on the CMS webpage (https://rocketshirts.chipply.com/CMClassShirts/.)  The sale will end on November 5th and the shirts should be delivered to the school late November.    

The Crochet Club meets again this Thursday, November 2nd.  We will end this week's meeting at 4:00 so make sure your ride is here by 4 in the middle school pick-up area.  For those who will be attending for the first time, please remember to bring a completed Opt-In form.  A link for the form can be found on the Crochet club page of the CMS website. 

HS Cheer will sell Smoothies for $6 at all 4 lunches this week.   

The swim team competed in their first meets of the season on the weekend. HS was at the Ensworth invitational. MS was at LaVergne for the Spooky Invitational.  

Congratulations to the following HS students for making regional cuts: Evan Keegan, Jean Drugmand, Uma Sood, Jackie Dummermuth, Kim Bao Nygen, Elijah Messick, Cameron Connely, Sarah Grace Terrell, Sara Gwen Arnold, Evie Riley, and Joaquin Rios.

Congratulations to the following MS students who made a regional cut: Jake Bull, Judah Faz, Hank Edge, Owen Huang, Cooper Olson, Jay Williams, and Lorelai Richardson.   

The HS swimmers are back in action this Thursday for their first divisional meet against Riverdale at Riverdale 5pm. The MS swimmers compete this Saturday against Rockvale at Riverdale 10 am.  

Congratulations to our archers this past weekend. Both teams place 3rd in their respective bullseye divisions.  Individually, Jesse Blunkall placed 4th in the HS Female division and Jackson Harris placed 2nd in the HS Male division.  Ava Edwards was tied for 5th place but was one 10 short on the tie breaker.  In the 3D tournament, the MS team placed 3rd led by Owen Taylor’s 2nd place in the MS Male division.  In the 3D HS divisions, Ev Phillips was the 5th place Female and Jackson Harris was the 1st place male.  

The Middle School Boys Basketball team lost to Cannon County middle school last night.  Arden Lewis led Central in scoring with 17 points while Isaac Messick added 8.
