High School


High School Counselors provide programs and services to help the student achieve success in school. During these adolescent years, students are evaluating their strengths, skills, and abilities. The following services are provided to our students through Advisory group sessions, high school courses and individual counseling meetings:

• Organizational, study and test-taking skills
• Post-secondary planning and application process
• Career planning and goal setting
• Education in understanding self and others
• Coping strategies
• Peer relationships and effective social skills
• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution
  and study skills
• Career awareness and the world of work
• Academic plans
• Career plans
• Problem solving
• Education in understanding of self, including strengths and weaknesses


SENIORS:  The state is paying for an ACT retake for all seniors on October 17th here at school.  You will not have to register for this test.

Governor's School Applications are available.  Arts applications are due to Guidance by Oct 20th and the Academic applications are due Nov 15th.  

Alternative Fall Break:  Volunteer for the United Way
