The library will have therapy dogs on Monday, December 11th and Tuesday, December 12th. Lucas, the black lab, will be here on Monday from 10-12. Rosie, the Irish wolfhound, will be here on Monday from 12-2. General, the collie, will be here on Tuesday from 9-11. If midterms stress you out and you want to come relax and pet some amazing therapy dogs, please sign up for a pass on the library website. There will be passes available every 15 minutes. Make sure you have a library pass and e-hall pass before coming to the library during those times to visit with the therapy dogs. 

Psi Alpha will have an AP Psychology Mid-term review on Tuesday, December 12, in room 338 after school. See Mr. Cowart to sign up or if you have any questions. 

Come on out to our Winter Choir Concert "Carol of the Bells" on Thursday, December 14th at 6:30pm in the CMS Theatre! Enjoy performances from our Show Choir, Varsity Choir, and Middle School Choir singing seasonal classics and more! 

Hear ye! Hear ye!  Calling all students with talent!  The annual Central Magnet Variety Show will be on Friday, January 12th.   To audition, please submit a video of your act to the FlipGrid using the link on the Central Magnet website (https://flip.com/767e0704).  You will also need to complete the Microsoft Form that is linked in the FlipGrid.  Auditions are due by December 8th.  All accompanying tracks are due by December 15th.  If you have any questions, reach out to Mr. Click, Mr. Mears, or Dr. Hines.  

HS Beta members:  You can still earn points by bringing in cans for the food drive. -- the last day for the food drive and to submit the semester's points is 12/15.  

It's that time again! For the homecoming activity this year, High School students are playing Volleyball! 6 males and 6 female players need to form a team for each grade level. Each team will be allowed to choose 2 coaches from the CMS Volleyball team, but only after their teams' forms have been turned in. You can find the permission forms on the Student Council website.  All forms must be turned in to your class representative by December 20th by 10 am! If you have any questions, reach out to your class rep. or Mrs. SK! 

HS Cheer will sell smoothies for $6.00 on Friday.   

The Middle School girl's JV won 15-6. The girl's varsity won 52-9. The top scorer for JV was Darcy Thomas with 6 points. The top three scorers for the varsity were Norah Clancy with 16 points. Emery Bland and Lily Stuible both had 13 points. 

Congratulations to the Middle School Boys basketball team on their win over Rocky Fork.  The tigers were down by 10 at half time but came back to win by a score of 38 to 36.  Kason Puffer lead all scorers with 19 points, while Owen King added 11.
