HS Students, if you ordered a class t-shirt, you can pick those up during C and D lunches on Wednesday and Friday this week.  We have some extras we will sell during those times on a first come, first serve basis.  Class shirts are $23. 

Psi Alpha will have an AP Psychology Mid-term review on Tuesday, December 12, in room 338 after school. See Mr. Cowart to sign up or if you have any questions. 

Come on out to our Winter Choir Concert "Carol of the Bells" on Thursday, December 14, at 6:30pm in the CMS Theatre! Enjoy performances from our Show Choir, Varsity Choir, and Middle School Choir singing seasonal classics and more! 

We'd like to congratulate our CMS 9th and 10th grade music students who auditioned for Mid-State this weekend! The following students were accepted into Mid-State Orchestra:

Jacob Anderson, cello 

Elle Foss, cello 

Evan Gibson, cello 

and Jacob Preku, double bass 

Two of these students scored high enough to qualify for All-State Orchestra, which is a huge accomplishment. These students are: Cora McCollum and Jacob Preku

and Rylan King, trombone

HS Beta members: You can still earn points by bringing in cans for the food drive. -- the last day for the food drive and to submit the semester's points is 12/15.  

Anime Club invites all anime lovers to join us for a fieldtrip to Brother's Ramen! If you're a fan of ramen and anime culture, we invite you to a cultural immersion lunch on December 20th after our 2-hour school day! Please stop by Ms. Andrews's room (Rm 114) to pick up a field trip permission form! All permission forms and fieldtrip money must be turned in by December 15th! Open to the first 30 students to turn in forms and money! 

Mental Health Initiative is having an afternoon study session for high schoolers tomorrow, Tuesday December 12th, from 3-4:30 in the library! There will be tutors available in every subject area. There will even coloring pages if you are just wanting a place to de-stress! Come enjoy a relaxing environment to prepare for Midterms. 

It's that time again! For the homecoming activity this year, High School students are playing Volleyball! 6 males and 6 female players need to form a team for each grade level. Each team will be allowed to choose 2 coaches from the CMS Volleyball team, but only after their teams' forms have been turned in. You can find the permission forms on the Student Council website.  All forms must be turned in to your class representative by December 20th by 10 am! If you have any questions, reach out to your class rep. or Mrs. SK! 

Congratulations to both teams this weekend as the MS team placed 2nd and the HS team placed 1st in the bullseye tournament.  Individually, Owen Taylor was the 2nd place MS Male Jesse Blunkall was the 3rd place HS female and Jackson Harris was the 3rd place HS male in the bullseye tournament.  In the 3D tournament, both the MS and HS teams placed 2nd.  Individually in the 3D tournament, Havilynn Burton was the 3rd place MS Female, Owen Taylor was the 5th place MS Male, Jackson Harris was the 2nd place HS Male, Jesse Blunkall was the 3rd place HS Female and Ava Edwards was the 2nd place HS Female.
