If you ordered a class t-shirt, you can pick those up today in the library during C and D lunches.  This will be the last pick up opportunity before break.  If you did not order one, we have some extras available for purchase on a first come, first served basis for $23. 

Middle school will be playing volleyball for the homecoming spirit day sport. Each grade will have a team consisting of 6 boys, 6 girls, and 2 coaches. All players and coaches must submit a signed permission form to your science teacher by Wednesday, December 20th. Students will be selected for the team based on the order in which permission forms are submitted. Permission forms are available in your science teacher's classroom & on the middle school student council website. If you have any questions, reach out to Mrs. Phillips.

Central Students interested in Dungeons and Dragons: Join the new D&D Club to learn more about D&D, find groups, get news, and check out resources for your at-home games! It's free! The Club meets every Wednesday from 3:10 to 3:40 PM in room 239, but attendance is not mandatory. If you come to at least one meeting per year, you get full access to the Club's resources. The first meeting will be on Wednesday, January 10th, where you can learn about the club's procedures and vote for officers. To sign up, just find one of the flyers on the bulletin boards or go to the club's website for a link. We hope to see you there! 

It's that time again! For the homecoming activity this year, High School students are playing Volleyball! 6 males and 6 female players need to form a team for each grade level. Each team will be allowed to choose 2 coaches from the CMS Volleyball team, but only after their teams' forms have been turned in. You can find the permission forms on the Student Council website.  All forms must be turned in to your class representative by December 20th by 10 am! If you have any questions, reach out to your class rep. or Mrs. SK! 

The JV boys high school basketball team was victorious last night with a 34-30 win over the visiting Vikings of Community High School. The team was led in effort by Tate Morris who scored the first six points of the game on his way to eight total points for the game. Hollis Jackson led the team in scoring with 10 points and Connor Ward had two big 3’s in the 3rd quarter to swing the momentum our way in what was a tie game at halftime. It was a great team effort overall.  

The Lady Tigers captured another big win last night vs rival Community 45-32. Addison Melton led the way with 22pts, Bethany Jackson contributed 11pts, Madisen Stanley finished with 8pts and Reagan Brand and Clara Johnson chipped in 2 pts each. The lady tigers will be in action again next Tuesday at Cannon County. 

Big shout out to the pep band last night, you add so much to the basketball game experience! 

The Central Magnet Men's Basketball Team improved to 7-4 on the season with a 60-54 victory over the visiting Community Vikings. 

The Tigers were led by Jake Maddox with 19 points and Owen Zubkus with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Mason Brown chipped in 9 points and Garret Florida contributed 6 points and 9 rebounds.  

The Tigers will be in action on Tuesday night when they travel to Cannon County to take on the Lions.  

The Middle School Track and Field Team will have a parent meeting on Tuesday, December 19th in the Senior Cafeteria. Interested students can see Coach Burns in room 132 for more information.  

The Middle School Boys Basketball team pick up another win last night beating LaVernge 63-54.  Kason Puffer lead all scores with 25, Arden Lewis scored 22 and Owen King added 10.
