Rising Juniors & Seniors - If you're interested in becoming a Writing Lab Tutor for the 2024-2025 school year, please pick up an application from either Mrs. Eubanks (room 104) or your current English teacher! The deadline for applications has been extended to Wednesday, January 31st due to our snow-cation! Please see Mrs. Eubanks with questions or concerns. 

Invitations to apply for the National Honor Society have been emailed to all qualified Juniors and Seniors. Applications are due Friday, January 26. Please see Mr. Windham if you have any questions. 

Any high school student interested in being on a crew for Legally Blonde go to Mrs. Sweet's website to see what crew positions are available and email her with your interests.  

The Open Field Day for Middle School Boys soccer is canceled for today due to weather. We still plan for Thursday as of now, but it is weather dependent.  

Any middle school boy who is interested in playing soccer this Spring should look on the team webpage and make sure he is eligible and has all his Final Forms paperwork completed before tryouts begin on February 1st.  

HS Cheer will sell smoothies at lunch on Friday for $6.00.   

The high school JV boys basketball team lost Friday night to a tough Tullahoma squad. Nathan Deinard had 10 points, Kai Jones had 7, and Everett Smith had 6.  Thanks for coming out and supporting your team.  

 The Lady Tigers got a big district win on homecoming night by defeating Tullahoma 55-51 in 2 overtimes. Addison Melton continued her strong play by scoring 35 pts and had 7 3 pointers. Clara Johnson chipped in 7 pts and also added a couple 3's. Julia Stuible had 4pts, Reese Martin 3pts and Madisen Stanley and Bethany Jackson chipped in 2 pts each. The Lady Tigers are now 13-7 overall but more important 2-0 in the district. The Lady Tigers will be in action again tonight at Lawrence Co.  

Congratulations to the following theatre students for their All State and Mid state theatre recognitions! The all state theatre conference took place at MTSU the weekend of January 12

Rachel Oppmann received the Robert E Crain musical theatre scholarship from the Tennessee theatre conference that happened simultaneously the same weekend as All state theatre conference for having the top musical theatre audition score in the state! 

Congratulate these students if you see them in class or in the hallway.
