If you are testing for the Seal of Biliteracy later this month, you must register and pay for the exam by this Wednesday, Feb. 21st. 

Middle Schoolers: You can vote for the dress up days & sport for the spring spirit day. Scan the QR code on the green flyers around the school or go to the middle school student council website. Voting ends this Friday.

The qualifying test for the middle school MTSU math contest is this tomorrow during CT. Complete the form on Mrs. Phillips’s website & sign up for the event in flex.

The high school musical Legally Blonde opens on Thursday, February 22nd! Performances are the 22-24 @7pm and 25th @5pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. You can pay cash or check at the door or scan the QR code on the posters around school to buy on GoFan ahead of time. Come out and support your theatre department with this fun, high energy, and comedic show!

Attention all middle school and high school students! The theatre student led one act auditions are next week! Theatre 4 students have been hard at work developing their own one act plays and are eager for you all to audition and be a part of their production! Auditions are next Wednesday, February 28 from 3:15- 5:15 in Mrs. Sweet's room, Annex 344. Callbacks will be Friday, March 1 from 3:15-5:00pm if necessary. That will be communicated by the end of auditions on Wednesday. Any Central middle or high school student can audition. You DO NOT have be in a theatre class to audition. Please go to Mrs. Sweet's website for all information and make sure to click on the hyperlink that is the audition form and fill it out before attending auditions on Wednesday. Attention, Juniors and Seniors!  We are giving away two free prom tickets this Friday night at the girl's region basketball game. To be eligible you must be present at the game. Upon entry into the game ask for a blue ticket at the entrance. Hold on to that ticket! The two winners will be announced at halftime of the game. The game starts at 7pm and we would love to have your support at the game!  Good luck and we hope to see you at the game Friday.

HS Cheer will sell smoothies at lunch on Friday.

Congratulations to both archery teams this weekend as the MS team placed 4th and the HS team placed 2nd in the bullseye tournament.  Individually, Owen Taylor was the 1st place MS Male, Jess Blunkall was the 4th place HS Female, Ava Edwards was the 2nd place HS Female and Jackson Harris was the 2nd place HS Male in the bullseye tournament.  In the 3D tournament, the HS team placed 1st. Individually in the 3D tournament, Havilynn Burton was the 5th place MS Female, Owen Taylor was the 1st place MS Male, Ava Edwards was the 4th place HS Female, Jess Blunkall was the 1st place HS Female and Jackson Harris was the 3rd place HS Male.

The Central Magnet Men's basketball team came up 2 points short last night as they were defeated by Lawrence County by the score of 52-50.

The Tigers were led by Mason Brown with 21 points, Will Becker with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Jake Maddox also chipped in 6 points and 5 rebounds.

The Tigers will play in the Region tournament starting this Saturday when they host Stone Memorial High School at 7:00 pm.

Mason Brown and Will Becker were also selected to the All-Tournament Team.
