The high school musical Legally Blonde opens on Thursday, February 22nd! Performances are the 22-24 @7pm and 25th @5pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. You can pay cash or check at the door or scan the QR code on the posters around school to buy on GoFan ahead of time. Come out and support your theatre department with this fun, high energy, and comedic show!
Attention all middle school and high school students! The theatre student led one act auditions are next week! Theatre 4 students have been hard at work developing their own one act plays and are eager for you all to audition and be a part of their production! Auditions are next Wednesday, February 28 from 3:15- 5:15 in Mrs. Sweet's room, Annex 344. Callbacks will be Friday, March 1 from 3:15-5:00pm if necessary. That will be communicated by the end of auditions on Wednesday. Any Central middle or high school student can audition. You DO NOT have be in a theatre class to audition. Please go to Mrs. Sweet's website for all information and make sure to click on the hyperlink that is the audition form and fill it out before attending auditions on Wednesday. Attention Students: The girls' basketball team has a big, region home game Friday night. We need a huge crowd. We will be selling student tickets at a reduced price of $5. The tickets will be sold during lunch on Friday. Also, juniors and seniors, make sure you get your blue ticket along with your game ticket when purchasing at lunch. We will be giving away two free prom tickets at the game, and you will need to be present and have the blue ticket to be eligible. One last thing, we will also have free pizza for all students at the game so plan to be at the gym no later than 5:30 because the pizzas will not last long!
HS Cheer will sell smoothies at lunch on Friday.
The men's basketball team is playing in the 1st round of the region playoffs on Saturday night at 7:00 pm here at Central Magnet. We need our Stripe Squad to show up and give us energy!
On Friday during C and D lunch the first 50 students to sign up with Coach Worsley will receive a free ticket to the game. You must see Coach Worsley on Friday at C or D lunch. There will be 25 available during each lunch period.
Once you have your name on the list you will receive your ticket on Saturday at 6:30 pm. Game time is 7:00 pm
