The ACT Boot Camp at CMS starts tomorrow morning at 8:00 for those who have registered. Students will check in with Ms. Taylor at College Corner. Please enter through those doors--no other doors will be available. Doors will open at 7:30.
Attention High Schoolers! Do you need help with your resume? Come to National English Honor Society's Resume Workshop to get help with your resume--no matter what stage it is or what it is for! We will be holding an info session Monday, March 11th during Central Time and then a peer-tutoring session on Thursday, March 14th during Central Time. Sign up for one or both sessions in Flex! Congratulations to the Central Magnet Chess Team on another great tournament performance at Percy Priest Elementary School in Nashville last Saturday. Our Chess Team won 1st place in both the 5-6th and the 7-12th grade sections. Many Team members earned individual placement trophies and medals, most notably the 1st place Championship by Elvin Chen.
The deadline to pay for spring AP classes is Friday, March 1.
The American Legion Girls State is a citizenship program offered to Junior girls. It is one of the most highly regarded programs in the nation. This year will be held at Lipscomb University May 26 through June 1st. Any Junior girl who is interested in attending Girls State this year, needs to see Mrs. Gerhart in Guidance.
Tennessee Boys State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for high school students. This year it will be held at TN Tech University May 19th through May 24th. Any Junior boy who is interested in attending TN Boys State this year, needs to see Mrs. Gerhart in Guidance.
