Come and join the CMS Choir for our High School Concert ""Opening Up!: Songs of Stage and Screen"" on Thursday, March 21st at 7:00pm.

High School Choir students will be singing songs from movies and musicals along with student soloists.

High School is playing Capture the Flag for the Spring Spirit Day activity. Teams are formed with 5 boys and 5 girls from each grade. IF there is enough interest, we will have 2 teams per grade. If you want to be on a team, see your class representative, the student council website, or Mrs. SK in room 116 for a permission form. Forms need to be turned in AS A TEAM by Thursday, March 21st to your class rep. or Mrs. SK.

Prom tickets MUST be purchased this week. They are $70 each and will be on sale through GoFan or in the cafeteria during C and D lunches this week. The LAST DAY to purchase a ticket will be Thursday. If you purchase on GoFan, you must pick up a physical ticket in the cafeteria. Please don't miss out!

Anime Club is excited to announce its first Naruto Run Race on the day of Pig Out. There will be one race for 6-8th graders and one for 9-12th graders. The deadline to turn in money and permission forms has been extended to the day of Pig Out. Students, the cost to compete is $2 for the chance to win a $20 Amazon gift card or anime loot for 2nd and 3rd place runners. So get a big group together and race with your friends. Please stop by Ms. Andrews's room (Rm 114) to pick up a permission form.

All HOSA members who are attending the state convention in Chattanooga over spring break will be meeting during C lunch in Mrs. Harrison's room today, March 20th. Please make a Pass from your 6th period to attend. You can check Teams for additional details.

Juniors and Seniors, After Prom tickets are on sale TODAY in the cafeteria during C& D lunch and on Friday during Pig Out.  The first GOLDEN TICKETS drawing winner will be announced tomorrow!  Register and pay by today for a chance to be in the drawing!  Also, CMAP t-shirts will only come with tickets registered and paid by Friday. 

Attention students:  We will be opening concessions Thursday 3/21 for everyone.  Plan now!  Lots of sodas, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, and candy to sell!

Attention All Students:    We will have Reading Rooms available during Friday’s Spirit Day activities for students who prefer to spend their day in a quieter atmosphere, away from the noise and crowds.  To be in a Reading Room, just sign up in advance in Flex.  If you need help securing a pass, see Ms. Dixon. Keep in mind that with the exception of going to the restroom, students who sign up for a Reading Room are to remain there until the next activity.

HS Cheer will sell smoothies at lunch on Friday.

The high school softball team dropped a tough 18 to 5 decision on Tuesday afternoon versus District foe Giles County. Rachel Plondke pitched 3.2 innings of relief, only allowing 2 earned runs. Taylor Nickerson was two for two with a double, and Juliet Dasch was one for two with a walk and two RBI. The lady Tigers return the action on Thursday when they travel to Franklin County.

Middle school Baseball Tigers dropped to 4 and 2 on the year losing to a tough MTCS team 2 to 1, Brady Moore, Carter Shelton, and Elijah Bonner had 1 hit a piece for the Tigers.

Brady Moore was brilliant on the mound for the Tigers going 6 innings and giving up 5 hits and 2 earned runs.

Tigers play Oakland middle Thursday.

Tigers JV team battled to a 5 to 5 tie with MTCS, Camden Reavis lead the Tigers with 2 hits and a run scored, Miles Pinson and Joe Pinson had 1 hit apiece to lead the Tigers.

Tigers varsity is 4 and 2 on the season

Tigers JV is 1-1-1 on the season so far

The Central Magnet middle school softball team will play Oakland Middle tomorrow, Thursday 21 at 4:30pm. Come out to Barfield Park, field 5 to help cheer the girls on to victory. Central Magnet students get in free.
