Anime Club is excited to announce its first Naruto Run Race on the day of Pig Out. There will be one race for 6-8th graders and one for 9-12th graders. The deadline to turn in money and permission forms has been extended to the day of Pig Out. Students, the cost to compete is $2 for the chance to win a $20 Amazon gift card or anime loot for 2nd and 3rd place runners. So get a big group together and race with your friends. Please stop by Ms. Andrews's room (Rm 114) to pick up a permission form.

Today is the LAST day to buy an After Prom ticket that also includes a CMAP T-shirt. Look for the After Prom ticket table near the pizza at Pig Out. There will also be a second GOLDEN TICKET drawing later today. The winner will get a $25 gift card to Boro Bowls! Follow CMAP2024 on Instagram to see who the winner is!

Attention current freshmen! Counselors will wrap up scheduling for your class THIS week. If you have not scheduled a time to meet with your counselor, please do that TODAY!

Yesterday's Dress-Up Participation Totals are as follows:

For the High School...

Sophomores - 3%

Seniors - 6%

Juniors - 9%

And Freshmen took 1st place with 14% participation

For the Middle School...

6th and 8th grades tied at 20%

7th grade earned 1st place with 41% participation

The high school baseball team got the sweep over Marshall County to improve to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in district play! The Tigers won game one of the double header 3-1. Nathan Stewart got the win on the mound throwing a complete game with 15 strike outs and gave up no earned runs! He also added 2 hits at the plate. Carter Long was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Dawson Mccrary went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles. The tigers won game two by a score of 9-4. Carter Long, Mitchell Coons, and Will Becker had 2 hits each. Jake Maddox pitched 3 scoreless innings in relief for the win.

Middle school baseball Tigers improved to 5 and 2 overall and 3 and 1 in conference with a hard fought come from behind victory over Oakland middle 5 to 4 Thursday afternoon.

Jason Dyer, Brayden Yates, Brady Moore, and Grayson LaRoy all had 1 hit each and Braylon Dowell had a big triple to get the comeback going in the 6th inning.

Braylon Dowell started on the mound and pitched 6 strong innings, Elijah Bonner pitched the 7th for the Tigers and got the win as the Tigers scored a run in the bottom of the 7th for the win.

The high school softball team dropped a 17–6 decision on the road at Franklin County Last night. Ashley Davis hit her first career homer and driving in two. Payton Nicholson and Taylor Nickerson each picked up two hits. Megan Weber added a triple and rbi. The Tigers play at Upperman today at 5:30.
