College Corner will host Austin Peay, University of Missouri, Motlow, and Tennessee Tech this Tuesday, Sept. 12 during C/D lunch. Stop by and visit!

 

 

The Central Magnet UNICEF Club is having a back to school party during D rotation this coming Tuesday, September 12th. There will be cupcakes, king-sized chocolate bars, cookies, and drinks for everyone who attends, and we will be discussing advocacy and ways you can get involved in promoting human rights. Again, it is the UNICEF Club, and we are meeting D rotation in Ms. Heller's room (#238). Hope to see you there! 

 

Attention Senior Beta club officers!  We will have an officers-only meeting next Wednesday, September 13 immediately after school in Ms. Frazer's room (104).  

 

 

The Interact Club will be meeting directly after school on September 14th from 11:15 - 11:45 in room 219. 

 

The meeting will consist of electing officers and discussing service projects for the year.

 

 

Young life is back TONIGHT at 8:01 PM! Come dressed like your grandparents to compete in the first Annual wheel chair race. We guarantee it we will be the best night of the week!

 

Congratulations to the high school cross country teams for a great showing in the AF Bridges Invitational.  Both squads smashed through the course, beating out some stiff competition and capturing first place trophies.  Page, Father Ryan, Apollo, and Franklin were among the elite programs lagging behind in our dust!  Leading the boys was Jordan Shirley with a time is 17:00.  Camille Smith was the overall girls winner with a stellar time of 19:55.  Both high school squads return to action this Saturday in Louisville for the Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational.  

 

Trap shooting team will be starting practice this Sunday at 2:00 pm at Big Springs Clay Target. If interested in joining the trap team see Sergeant Culp for more information. 

 

The Middle School girls soccer team plays this afternoon here against Rock Springs.  The Varsity kicks off at 4:15 with the JV game immediately after.  Please come out and support the Lady Tigers.

 

The Central Magnet Girls golf team are District 7 regular season champions after defeating Oakland 179-222 last Thursday at Cedar Crest. They finished the season unbeaten, and will compete for the district championship Monday, September 18, at Old Fort.
