Fairview Play Date (Replaces Portland)
We will not be attending the Portland play date. Instead, we were fortunate to be added to the Fairview Play Date. Below is our game schedule for that day 8-2:

  • Game 1: 10:40 AM – Turf Field: Central Magnet vs. Merrol Hyde

  • Game 2: 2:40 PM – Practice Field: Central Magnet vs. Franklin County

  • Game 3: 3:20 PM – Soccer Field: Lincoln County vs. Central Magnet

  • Game 4: 6:00 PM – Practice Field: Columbia Academy vs. Central Magnet

 

 Schedule Update (August Pre-Season Games)

  • Cancelled: August 5 vs. Brentwood Academy (due to Central's Open House)

  • New Game: August 12 @ Riverdale, 6:30 PM (no bus provided)
    All changes will be reflected in TeamSnap.

 

Gatlinburg Tournament (Sept. 5–7)
We will be attending the Gatlinburg Tournament that weekend.

  • A cabin has been booked for the players, with Mandy Parkerson and Mrs. Kime chaperoning.

  • Parents who wish to attend should book separate accommodations.

  • There will be no team bus — families are responsible for player transportation.

  • The cabin is approximately 5 miles from the tournament complex.
    I will share the address and cabin link in the team chat later today.

 

Team Fee ($150)
Team fees will be collected starting next week. Two payment options:

  1. Check made out to Central Magnet Girls Soccer

  2. School Cash Online (open from July 23 to August 10)
    Checks can be brought to practice starting Monday, or you can pay online once it opens

 Fundraising Day – August 6 (Wednesday)

  • We’ll meet at 3:00 PM in Mrs. Kime's room

  • Come prepared with 20 or more phone numbers for our annual fundraiser

  • A short practice will follow

Team Pictures – August 15 (Friday)
We’ll have Loveless Photography take our team photos after school.

  • No practice that day – just team pictures

  • Please plan accordingly
