Middle School Golf Team Interest 2026 – Fill out form

Welcome to Central Magnet Middle School Golf.  My name is Suzette Sissom, and I will be the golf coach this season.  I teach 6th grade math here at Central and also coach the middle school girls' basketball team. 

MS golf is a spring season sport so more information will be coming later.  Please fill out the interest form above if you are interested in playing golf for the 2026 season.  Also make sure you are complete in Final Forms before tryouts.

Make sure to have all information entered in Final Forms.    I have a flyer with directions if you need it.

 

We will begin practices TBD from 3:30pm-4:30pm.  (or until it gets dark).  This is also dependent on the weather and if the practice areas/driving range are open. We will plan to practice one to two days per week unless we have a match.  Practice locations may be at Go USA driving range or Bloomfield Links. 

 

The player fee for this year will be discussed at the parent meeting TBA in February.   
  • Bloomfield is not free this year, so all players will need to join Youth on Course | It's All About Access in order to practice at Bloomfield.
  • Player fees do not include uniforms. The uniform includes 2 Central polo shirts, khaki or black pants/shorts, and hat or visor.  A team store will be available soon to order these items.
  • Each player is responsible to have their own set of golf clubs as well.  The players are not allowed to ride in a cart but can have a pull cart for the matches.

The teams consist of (boys) 5 players and (girls) 4 players.   District and Regionals are based on individual scores to move on to that level of play.
