Summer Reading assignments:
Important updates and class reminders
Students that are taking AP classes that want to take the exam for college credit will need to register for the exam in the fall. Registration for the 2024 AP exams will begin on September 12 and will end October 31, 2023 (Spring semester courses will register in January when those classes begin). Late payments will not be accepted due to the College Board ordering deadlines. The cost of each exam is $98, except Research & Seminar which is $146. Students will take their registration form and check or cash to the Attendance office during school hours. The registration form for cash or check payments is in Attendance & on the Guidance Testing Web page. If your student is currently receiving Free or Reduced lunch, the TN State Department of Education and Rutherford County Board will pay for the cost of the exams for you. Free or Reduced students will still complete the forms and register in attendance.
There is also an easy online payment option for credit cards. The online payment price is $102 and $152 for Research & Seminar. You will need to create an account and must select the correct exams your child will be taking. Here is the link and this will open September 12. School Cash Online
Students will join their AP classes on their MyAP account. When they turn in their payment for the test, their account will be marked YES for taking the test within 48 hours. If you have questions about whether they turn in the payment, have your student check their MyAP account for their exam decision.
All students
If you are absent or working from home during the 2023-2024 school year, do the following to keep up with your work:
- Access your assignments in Teams.
- Some apps will be accessed through Clever throughout the year. If this is your first time accessing Clever from home, you will need to put your entire email address ([email protected]) and the password that you use to log in to a computer at school.
