Welcome!
My name is Sra. Jessica Pinson. Although living in many different places, I am a born & raised Murfreesboro-ian! 2023-2024 is my 14th year at Central (16 years total) and I am so thankful to have your child in my class!
I have my undergraduate in Spanish and Graphic Design, as well as my Masters in Teaching of Spanish. My husband and I have had the wonderful opportunity to live in Spain, travel to numerous other countries, and organize trips through our department. The world has so much to offer our students, and I hope my experience and excitement for the language & culture can, in turn, motivate them!
I love to run, be outside, garden, the STL Cardinals, and to drink all the coffee. My four kiddos, husband, dog, and cat keep me busy, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Over the time spent traveling and being a continual student myself, I've learned that giving your student the ability to speak as much in class as possible allows them to gain more confidence to, in-turn, build their fluency and betterment in the language. I love seeing them grow in their skills over the years!
