Welcome Students and Parents!
We are about to embark on a wonderful and exciting journey! I'm so excited to meet each and every one of you! It is going to be an amazing year!
Please remember to sign up to the online tools we will use frequently. This includes: Teams, Remind, TurnItIn. Please be sure to reach out VIA email if any need or concern arises. Make it a practice of always contacting your teachers before an assignment is late and definitely before it is graded, and you have a grade you don't want.
Students, remember the following:
- Check your email often. I will send out information in a class newsletter that includes what we've finished and was due that week, as well as what is coming up the next week and due soon.
- We have a quarterly book to read. The list is as follows: 1st Quarter - Frankenstein by Mary Shelley 2nd Quarter - Night by Eli Wiesel 3rd Quarter - The Tempest (In Textbook) 4th Quarter - Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald
- Summer work is due after the second week of school - August 18th.
- Always SIGN OUT and SIGN IN when using the restroom or going anywhere from class.
- REMEMBER to ALWAYS write down your assignments and due dates, preferably in an agenda of your choice.
- All assignments will be in TEAMS and in the weekly NEWSLETTER.
This is going to be a great year, and I'm so excited to get it started!
