Classwork:
1) Students debriefed on the two free speech cases they worked on Friday in class (and homework). They discussed the decisions in the cases, the majority and minority opinions, and the constitutional justification for the SCOTUS decision in each case.

2) If time permitted they began creating a diagram on the "Dual Court System" of the United States.
Homework:
Watch the video clip (link is below) on the structure of the Federal Court system. We will discuss the salient points tomorrow in class.
Comparative Government
Classwork:
1) Students handed in Nigeria RG 2.
2) Students created a timeline of the critical junctures (regime changes) in Nigeria's volatile history. Next, they created a chart/diagram on the government of Nigeria (institutions of government).
Homework:
Review critical juncture and government chart notes.
