High School
High School Counselors provide programs and services to help the student achieve success in school. During these adolescent years, students are evaluating their strengths, skills, and abilities. The following services are provided to our students through Advisory group sessions, high school courses and individual counseling meetings:
• Organizational, study and test-taking skills
• Post-secondary planning and application process
• Career planning and goal setting
• Education in understanding self and others
• Coping strategies
• Peer relationships and effective social skills
• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Governor's School: Applications are open to current 10th & 11th graders. This is a program for exceptional high school students to live on a college campus for the month of June to study the arts, STEM or humanities areas. See your counselor if you are interested in applying and bring them a resume. The LEDA Scholars application is open. Applicants must be a junior attending a public high school in the U.S. graduating in 2025, a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have DACA Status, have an annual household income under $90,000, and a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5.
