High School

 

High School Counselors provide programs and services to help the student achieve success in school. During these adolescent years, students are evaluating their strengths, skills, and abilities. The following services are provided to our students through Advisory group sessions, high school courses and individual counseling meetings:

• Organizational, study and test-taking skills
• Post-secondary planning and application process
• Career planning and goal setting
• Education in understanding self and others
• Coping strategies
• Peer relationships and effective social skills
• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution
  and study skills
• Career awareness and the world of work
• Academic plans
• Career plans
• Problem solving
• Education in understanding of self, including strengths and weaknesses

 

 ANNOUNCEMENTS

AP Exams:  Students taking AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics or AP US Government this semester need to order those tests.  The cost of each exam is $96.  Students can bring a check or cash to the attendance office with the form to pay for the exams.  We also have an online option if you are paying with a credit card.  There is an additional $4 charge for that option.  Here is the link to pay online:  https://rcschools.schoolcashonline.com/  The payment deadline is March 4 at 3:00.
