High School Counselors provide programs and services to help the student achieve success in school. During these adolescent years, students are evaluating their strengths, skills, and abilities. The following services are provided to our students through Advisory group sessions, high school courses and individual counseling meetings:

• Education in understanding self and others
• Coping strategies

AP students: Check your teacher's website for assignments and links to materials. Check your email that you used to set up your College Board account and joined your class. College Board will be sending important information regarding the test and a code to access it online. Here is the link to the new exam schedule and information about each AP exam. Rising 9th graders: The Sign Up Genius referenced in Orientation folders will not be posted on March 17 due to school closures. We will post updates as they become available.
RC Online has postponed registration for summer school: https://rcso.rcschools.net
College Visits: if you scheduled a visit or tour this spring, check with the school's admission office to see if it is still available. We have had many colleges cancel spring events.
The CMS College Fair and College Planning night have been cancelled due to the restriction on mass gatherings.
Seniors: Work Ethic Distinction will be due the Friday that we return to school.
Seniors: If your financial situation has changed due to the loss of income during this time, update your FAFSA and contact the Financial Aid Office at the college you will be attending.
