Classwork:
Students discussed Marbury v Madison, and then immediately continued work on their civil liberties and civil rights unit. This will be a multi-day lesson, which will cover the Bill of Rights, some civil rights amendments, the 14th amendment and "selective incorporation", as well as exploration of several landmark SCOTUS Cases.
Homework:
STUDY any civil liberties/civil rights notes from yesterday and today. We will test on this unit early next week.
Comparative Government
Classwork:
Students continued working with partners or in small groups on several Nigeria FRQs. The Nigeria FRQ test will be tomorrow, 11-28-2018. If time permitted,students discussed commonly missed items from last week's Nigeria multiple-choice test OR started reading the textbook chapter on Iran.
Homework:
STUDY notes we took on the Nigeria FRQs the past two days, as preparation for TOMORROW's FRQ test.
