A.P. U.S. Government and Comparative Government

Classwork:

Students took their unit test on the U.S. Constitution. They also received a reading-discussion guide on the Congress. If time permitted after the test, they worked on the reading-discussion guide. This reading-discussion guide aligns with your textbook, so students will need their textbook to complete it.

Homework:

Finish items 1-30 for block day (i.e. it is due on your block day FOR A GRADE!).

Finish items 31-58 by Tuesday, October 9^th (i.e. it is due October 9^th).

Classwork:

1)Students took their Russia unit test (multiple-choice portion).

2) They also received some articles on China (from The Economist magazine) to begin reading and underling/annotating salient points in the texts.

Homework:

Read “Limits of Despair” and “Treating the Symptoms” and underline/annotate the salient points in the articles. Write 3-5 questions you’d like to discuss in class on the back of each article.
