Classwork:
Students created a diagram on the two-tiered court system of the U.S. They also watched a video clip on the structure of the federal court system which had maps and diagrams of the court system and the relationship between the types of courts. The link for the video is below. IF YOU'RE OUT TODAY, WATCH THE VIDEO!!
If time permitted, students began discussing and taking notes on how the court system functions.
Students also handed in a Wisconsin v. Yoder SCOTUS Form.
Homework:
Complete a SCOTUS Form for New York Times Co. v. United States (1971). Remember I am in Ms. Gates' room tomorrow (except 5th), so hand it in to me when your group rotates to Gates' room.
