Juniors took their Congress test after discussing split-ticket voting, straight-ticket voting and the politico model of representation. Tomorrow , Mr. Brooks will post the "Judicial Branch/Civil Liberties packet, part 1" (WORD DOC to download). LOOK FOR IT. Download and PRINT a HARD COPY.
Finally, I have decided to make the material for Conservative/Liberal views on issues and the Political Spectrum a separate short quiz (juniors will take on your block day THIS week. SENIORS will take theirs next Monday, 4-8-2019). Quiz will be about 20 questions. Know the difference between conservatives, liberals, and libertarians. Know the positions of Conservatives and Liberals on the issues in the packet.

Watch the youtube video clip on the structure of the federal court system (link below) and write down any questions you need for clarification from the video.
REMEMBER: Major Congress Test for seniors. You may take the test any day this week (Tuesday thru Friday...you may take it before school, after school, or at another tome convenient for you. The default day is Friday during your class period).
STUDY your Congress notes, your reapportionment notes, Left/Right Political Spectrum Diagram, and the Conservative/Liberal document with the positions each of the two groups has on major issues/public policy.
