Comparative Government
Classwork:
Students discussed yesterday's Intro to Comparative Politics test (multiple-choice and one FRQ). Next, differentiated between causation/correlation, empirical/normative statements. Also, they discussed, analyzed, and explained the following data collection methods: GDP, GDP per capita, PPP, Gini Index (coefficient), Freedom House, Transparency International, HDI, and the happiness index. Finally, they analyzed various graphs in order to practice analyzing quantitative data to explain aspects of the countries in AP Comparative Government
