Classwork:

Students discussed media outlets of record that provide fact-based information about government and politics. A list of these media sources is on my web site to download. 

Also, Mr. Brooks explained the requirements for the "Articles Project". IF YOU WERE ABSENT, HAVE A FELLOW STUDENT TEXT YOU THE INSTRUCTIONS!

Homework:
Your first article assignment is DUE MONDAY, 8-12-2019. ALSO, bring the "Left/Right" document and the "Conservative/Liberal" document Mondays. DON'T FORGET!!!

Comparative Government

Classwork:
Students worked in small groups to identify and list prior knowledge about the six countries in the Comparative Government curriculum (i.e. Mexico, Nigeria, Great Britain, Russia, China, and Iran). Also, Mr. Brooks passed out to pages with Comp Gov nomenclature. Read them, highlight salient points, and write questions in the margins.
