REMEMBER the homework assignment on yesterday's calendar. It is due tomorrow. Download and print a copy of the "SCOTUS Case Response" form below. Next, download the "15 sl case summaries" doc below (we'll be using this for the rest of the semester).

Following is a repeat of the directions. It is due Friday 10-16-20 for 4th period and Thursday, 10-15-20 for periods 3,5, and 7. 

Read the Tinker v. Des Moines Case in the "15 sl case summaries" doc, and fill out the SCOTUS Case Response form for this case. WRITE IN COMPLETE SENTENCES! Sometimes you may need to copy some information verbatim. That's OK since this is for class discussion purposes.

Read and underline the salient points in the Putin article. You should put asterisks by or write down 5 things you deem most important in order to participate in a Socratic Discussion on Thursday, 10-15-20. Your grade will be based on your participation. Make sure you are prepared to speak at least once, and be prepared to offer comments or articulate questions during the discussion.
