Hello AP U.S. Government Folks:
I guess you've heard by now about RCS being closed through 4-24-20. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE AP GOV TEST.
We shall learn and perform well because I have decided that's what we're going to do. You have decided as well. Again, as I said yesterday we are only accountable for units 1 through 3. SECOND SEMESTER: Y'all have already done almost all of units 1 (Foundations of American Democracy...the only thing we need to cover is modern federalism...I will make a video unit on it) and 3 (there are a few other items in unit 3 we need to cover, but I will make a video lesson on Civil Liberties and Civil Rights for 1st and 2nd semester so 2nd semester will have a lesson on all the material). And finally, Unit 2 is comprised of the branches of government. You have lesson one on political parties and lesson two on the executive branch will be posted within a few hours. Sorry for the delay, but when I got the 4-24 news, I decided to make some changes. By Saturdayish, you'll have the judicial and legislative branches. The following week I'll create a lesson on modern federalism.
The fact that we're only responsible for units 1-3 and because you'll have all my video lessons within a couple of weeks WILL WORK IN OUR FAVOR. Think about it, you'll have 4-5 weeks to prepare. Oh, did I mention that I've decided (and you have too) that everyone will pass the exam and most of you will make 4s and 5s!
All shall be well. As always, do not hesitate to email me for questions/concerns.
