classwork:
3rd, 5th, and 7th periods only as TODAY was an ODD DAY.
1) Students took their Test from home or in class over Conservative/Liberal Issue positions, Political Spectrum, and the Electoral College. Mr. Brooks will put the test and answer sheet in each class' Kiddom Lesson for today, or tomorrow for 4th period. Students MUST email Mr. Brooks their answers on HIS answer sheet (typed upper-case letters for their answers to the multiple-choice questions) as a separate MS WORD DOC NOT as a "share document" on office 365.
2) Students began a multi-day lesson on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Students should download the two PDFs below (Declaration of Independence and The United States Constitution).
*** Distance learners are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to watch/participate in the live recordings of each class. These recordings will be a great time to interact with me and fellow students and will be integral to your success in this class. If you can't be present during the "live class", make sure you view the recordings and email me with questions! You'll have to email me a link for a particular class period/date/time.
homework:
Review your notes on the Declaration of Independence, and the U.S. Constitution.
Comparative Government
classwork:
Students began a multi-day lesson on their first country case: China. This will be a multi-day lesson, which utilizes a PowerPoint and a Class Outline on China. The two documents are attached below. Later this week or the beginning of next week, Mr. Brooks will post some magazine articles, which will align with discussions on public policies in China.
