Classwork: Students got feedback on their Foundations multiple-choice test. They also handed in Tinker V. Des Moines homework. Next, they discussed Tinker v. Des Moines and Wisconsin v Yoder. If time permitted, they discussed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Voting Rights Act of 1965, and Title IX. If time permitted, they discussed "Selective Incorporation. began their Federalism unit, explaining/taking notes and creating a diagram.
Breakdown and write on separate sheets of paper the following cases: McDonald v. Chicago (2010) and NYT v U.S. (1971)

Students got feedback on their Russia test. They also viewed/discussed and took notes on a China PowerPoint. Next, they discussed the three articles from the Economist. If time permitted they discussed and created a diagram on the organizational charts of the Chinese Communist Party's AND the Chinese government's Institutional Organizational charts.
