If time permitted, they discussed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Voting Rights Act of 1965, and Title IX. If time permitted, they discussed "Selective Incorporation. began their Federalism unit, explaining/taking notes and creating a diagram.
Homework:
Breakdown and write on separate sheets of paper the following cases: McDonald v. Chicago (2010) and NYT v U.S. (1971). The assignment is due next class period.
