Classwork: Students got feedback on their Civil Liberties test.. They also handed in McDonald or NYT SCOTUS homework. Next, they discussed McDonald v. Chicago and NYT V U.S. Next, they discussed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Voting Rights Act of 1965, and Title IX. If time permitted, they discussed "Selective Incorporation". began their Federalism unit, explaining/taking notes and creating a diagram.

Homework:

Review all notes and cases we've done so far for this federalism unit.

AP Comparative Government: 

Class Work:  Students discussed the three articles from the Economist. Next they viewed and discussed a Power Point on China. Finally, they began discussion and taking notes on the institutions of government of the CCP and the Chinese government.
