Students finished discussing/explaining the powers of Congress and its checks on the other two branches of government. Next, they began a sub-lesson on the Executive branch.
Homework:
STUDY the Reapportionment and Electoral College DOCs, as well as The Three Branches DOC, which is below for download. Test will be NEXT FRIDAY, 12-10-2021.
AP Comparative Government
Classwork:
Students got a Mexico discussion guides and two FRQ packets (see docs below). They discussed Mexico's institutions of government to see how they could be used to answer an argument essay FRQ.
Homework:
Create an outline for an argument essay FRQ (the one on authoritarianism and democracy in one of the FRQ packets).
