Classwork:

Students discussed Articles of Confederation, Constitutional Convention, 9th and 10th amendments, civil society, reserved powers, concurrent powers, and the three models of democracy.

If time permitted, students started reading/analyzing/taking notes on  Federalist 51 and Brutus 1.

Homework:

  Study notes from the Articles of Confederation/Constitutional Convention, Federalist  51, as well as Brutus 1.


Test for periods 1 and 2 is next Wednesday, 9-29-21. Test for periods 4,5, and 7 is next Thursday, 9-30-21.

Students should complete Russia Reading/Discussion Guide 1 posted below. It aligns with the Russia Chapter in your textbook.
