Classwork:
Students in "A" block took their "Committees/Electoral College Test" Afterwards they worked on the following assignment, which is due next class period:
1) Download the following two documents from my AP U.S. Government page:
-"Political Spectrum Diagram"
-"Conservative and Liberal Positions on Major Issues"
2) Examine the "Political Spectrum" diagram. Then ON A PIECE OF PAPER, identify three things you'd like to discuss from the diagram AND explain WHY you wish to do so.
3) Read the "Conservative and Liberal Positions on Major Issues" and THEN on the same sheet of paper, identify 5 issues you'd like to discuss and EXPLAIN WHY.
4) The above assignment is DUE at the beginning of your next class!
Homework:
"A" Block See the assignment above along with its DUE DATE.
"B" Block: Study your notes and pertinent class discussion guides on the Electoral College, congressional committees, "How a Bill Becomes a Law" (diagram, the Baker case, the Shaw case, and checks & balances (diagram),
AP Comparative Government
Classwork:
Students continued discussing and taking notes on the institutions of government in Iran as well as legitimacy, cleavages, sources of authority and power, Judicial review, and political parties.
Homework:
Continue reviewing all Iran notes. Test is next Wednesday (11-16-2022) or Friday (11-18-2022).
