Students ("A: BLOCK) took their Presidency and Judicial test. If time permitted, they read, discussed, and explained excerpts from Federalist 70 (Unitary Executive) and Federalist 78 (Judiciary). Also, Mr. Brooks handed out a small packet on "Civil Liberties and Civil Rights"
Homework:
BLOCK "A":
Read the "Civil Liberties and Civil Rights" packet. Read and annotate amendments 1,2,3,4,5,6, 8,9,10 and amendments 13,14,15,17,19,23,24, and 26. in the packet (i.e. write them in modern language and put question marks by items on which you need clarification).
BLOCK "B":
STUDY Presidency/Judicial Branch document as well as class notes. MAJOR test on this material TOMORROW.

Homework:
Read the Nigeria packet. As you read through it, make notes in major topic sections identifying how the countries that we've studied so far either compare or contrast with Nigeria. COME IN WEDNESDAY READY TO DISCUSS and apply these bits of information to FRQs (it will be an open-book exercise).
