CLASSWORK:
Students finished discussing the Articles of Confederation and the Constitutional Convention of 1787 (aligned with Pp26-37 in textbook). Next, they got feedback on the Conservative/Liberal test. Afterwards, they began the next unit on the Federalists and Anti-Federalists, which involves, amongst other things, reading/analyzing and interpreting the following Foundational Documents: Federalist 10, Brutus 1, and Federalist 51. These documents will be used to support their Argument Essay Thesis next week (one of the four types of FRQs on the AP test in May).
HOMEWORK:
REVIEW all notes. Unit Test on the Foundations of American Democracy will be next week: Periods 1,2, and 3 will test on Monday, 2-7-2022 and periods 4,5, and 7 will test on Tuesday, 2-8-2022.
