Class work:

Students finished identifying and explaining some of the major powers of the federal government in the U.S. Constitution, as well as state powers "in" the 10th amendment. Next, students differentiated between the three models of democracy. If time permitted, they discussed the homework assignment from Monday as prelude to reading and being able to explain Federalist 10.

Homework:

Read Pp 46-51 in your textbook. Create a set of notes in which you fully explain Federalist 10, Federalist 51, and Brutus1. Do NOT create a tome, unless you wish to do so. Also, DO NOT merely write clauses OR bullet points with no explanations. A paragraph, maybe two should suffice for each text (i.e. 10,51,1).
