Classwork: Students discussed the Bureaucracy and Judicial sections of the "Executive/Judicial" class discussion guide as well as Fed 70 and Fed 78 on the Discussion Guide. If time permitted they viewed video clips on the following cases: New York v. United States, Schenck v. United States, and Marbury v Madison. The videos are on YouTube and my homepage. Use either Heimler, LaManna or both.
If time permitted, they viewed/discussed the Electoral College video clips by Heimler and LaManna on YouTube, as well as the How to Answer the SCOTUS FRQ and How to Answer the Application FRQ videos by Heimler and LaManna..
Also, there is a MS WORD Document on the Electoral College on my A.P.U.S. Government page that would be a nice supporting document for the Electoral College video.
FINALLY, there is a LINK below to a recording of the 1st period class today if you were absent. I will record 4th period on Friday and post a link to that recording on Friday.
Homework:
Periods 4,5,6, and 7 will meet on Friday to finish whatever task we didn't finish today Hopefully 1,2, and 3 will have the chance to do so tomorrow (Thursday, 4-28-22) if the yearbook signing schedule allows us to be in class. If not, you'll need to finish the lesson at home.
