*High School Students: Please make time to come by the library and renew all of your books by this Wednesday afternoon. We can renew your books so they will be due in May.

 

*"The school musical The Drowsy Chaperone is this weekend March 8th- March 10th. It is at 7 PM on the 8th and 9th and 2:30 on the 10th. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Come out and support the theatre department this weekend"

 

*The National Spanish Honor Society is raising money for the local Hispanic Center this THURSDAY with a BAKE SALE! All items will be $1! Cookies, muffins, drinks, ALL homemade! Bring your money and your appetite! On Sale before school at 7:15 in College Corner.

 

*Any Junior who is interested in attending Boys State or Girls State this summer will need to see Mrs. Gerhart in Guidance for more information.  Students must have a 3.75 or higher to be eligible.

 

*Spring Pictures will be taken this Thursday, March 7th during the early dismissal day.

 

*The softball teams will be hosting a bowling scramble at Lanes, Trains, & Automobiles next Sat the 9th from 9:30-11:30. Find a softball player and join a team. Prizes given!

 

*Congratulations to the following Latin and Etymology students who placed on the National Classical Etymology Exam.

 

 

Bronze medals were awarded to Sydney Staines, Aliyah Weaver, Makayla Lattin, Batu Arik, Christine Ojeaburu, Piper Danielson, Treyton Bratton, Grace Moore, Delaney Reynolds, Alden Degenarro, Matthew Feragola, Grant Gilley, Sydney Cuneo, and Meredith Riley.

 

 

Silver medals were awarded to Tolu Onafowakan, Edith Pelham, Alaina Denton, Rebecca Raynor, and Jonathan Womble.

 

 

Gold medals were awarded to Anna Elam, Jonathan Wich, Kate Olvera, Nicole Speyrer, Lily Ann Brown and Michael Sowell.

*The high school boys’ soccer team opened preseason play with a 4-0 win over Lebanon HS last night.   Nathan Clark put in three goals to lead the team.  Jordan McGoffin added a goal and an assist.  Ethan Koeller and Ollie Rayburn also had assists.

 

The JV team won 1-0 off of a goal by Nolan Blair.
