*Any current 8th grader who will be attending CMS for high school next year and missed orientation last night can stop by Guidance to pick up your folder. Please schedule an appointment via the Sign-Up Genius, (directions in the folder), with your counselor. The Sign-Up Genius links can be found on the CMS Counseling webpage.

 

* AP registration ends on Friday, March 15.  Please return your registration form and payment to Mrs. Hogue in attendance.

Friday, March 22nd is our last spirit day of the year.  We will have Pig Out and high school will be playing Dodgeball!  If you are interested in playing, the information, permission slip, and the class officer who is organizing the team for each grade level are all on the student council website. 

 

*The middle school golf team opened their season against PCA and Christiana on Monday at Old Fort Golf Course. Nathan Carter posted the low score for the boys while Ellis Young led the way for the girls' team. Both teams will play this afternoon at Cedar Crest.

 

*The Lady Tigers dropped a tough one last night losing to Smyrna 13-2. Kali Penny went 3 for 3. They will take on MTCS at home at 4:30 today.

 

*The high school soccer team opened regular season play this evening by defeating Siegel High School 1-0.  Jorge Graniel scored the lone goal on a PK after being brought down in the box.  Russel Harper had a Man of the Match performance with string of great saves.

 

The high school team plays next in Gatlinburg this weekend at the Smoky Mtn. Cup.

 

The JV team won 3-0.  Goals from Chris Norman, Julian McMillian, and Caleb Dochow.

 

*Your Tiger baseball team (2-0) defeated East Hickman 12-0 in five innings. Brady Sengkounmany pitched 4 innings, gave up 0 hits and struck out 9. Matthew Fleischman pitched a scoreless 5th in his varsity debut to combine for the no hitter. Porter Hendrixson, CJ Campbell, and Jack Smith had 2 hits each.
