* AP registration ends on Friday, March 15.  Please return your registration form and payment to Mrs. Hogue in attendance.

 

*We would like to congratulate Michael Sowell for being selected to participate in this year's All-State Orchestra. This honor recognizes Michael as one of the best student musicians in Tennessee, so we are very proud of him!

 

*Any senior who is attending or is likely to attend UT Knoxville next year, please see Coach Nichols before 6th period today.

 

*Today is the last day before spring break to check out library books. If you need new books, please come to the library today by 3:30 to check them out. We will be closed this Friday through next

week for the book fair, so checkout will not be available during that time.

 

*Seniors:  The Work Ethic Distinction packet and documentation is due to Guidance by March 20th.

 

*The Middle School softball game scheduled for today has been cancelled. No practice.

 

*The softball team lost to MTCS last night 9-6. A highlight in the game was a 2-run home run by Faith McCaghren.  Abby Frazier went 2 for 2. The Lady Tigers will be playing in the Gordonsville Tournament this weekend.

 

*Weather permitting, the Middle School boys soccer team will open the regular season today where they will host Siegel.   Game time is 4:30 with the Varsity game first and the JV game immediately after.

 

*The middle school boys golf team won their first match of the season defeating Smyrna and Rock Springs at Cedar Crest on Wednesday. Eli Austin, Nathan Carter, and Collier Pawlowski each posted the low scores for the groups they were in. The girls team came up short, but Emma Nolan and Reagan Warren tied with the low score for Central.
