*Students! You are invited to the soccer field during Club Rotation on Thursday for the Annual Foreign Language World Cup Soccer Tournament! Come on out and cheer on your language. See you there!

 

*STUDENTS! The Annual Foreign Language WORLD CUP will take place THIS Thursday during Club time! Please see your FL teacher for more info!

 

*Attention Middle School 1st Priority Leaders: There will be another meeting in Mrs. Cook's room today during A-Lunch. 7th Grade leaders, feel free to bring your lunch to the meeting.

 

*The middle school golf team competed in the Rutherford County Tournament yesterday at Cedar Crest. Eli Austin led the way for the boys with Nathaniel Carter two strokes behind Eli for the day. Meanwhile, Caitlin Reeves posted the low score for the girl’s team. They will play again next Monday at Stones River.

 

*The Middle School Varsity Boys soccer team lost to Blackman 6 to 2.  Jake Petty scored two goals while Clay Thompson had two assists.  Isiah Richard had 6 saves and Jonathan Warner had 2 saves.  The JV team lost 6 to 0, Jonathan Warner had 2 saves and Isiah Richard had 5 saves.  The next game is Thursday at LaVergne; game time is 4:15 with the JV game immediately after. 

 

*The Central High School Soccer team traveled to Lewisburg last night and defeated Marshall Co. 8-0.  Andre Moriel had an excellent showing with 3 goals and 2 assists.  Will Carver had 2 goals and an assist. Sam Orput scored two goals.  Nathan Clark also scored 1.  Additionally, there were assists by Jordan McGoffin, Julian McMillian, and Walker Robison.  The team is now 3-0-1 in district play.

 

*The Lady Tigers improve to 3-1 in district play with a win against Community last night. Faith McCaghren dominated the game with a two hitter. Jasmyn Stanley went 2 for 4 w/ 4 RBI’s. Emma Tellez was 2 for 3, Kali Penny went 2 for 4 with a triple, and Abby Frazier was intentionally walked 3 times, but pulled off a triple and 2 RBI’s. The next game is tomorrow at home against district rival Forrest.
