*French Club will be having a quiche- off competition after school Wednesday in room 206.

There will be a Paris and the South of France TRIP interest meeting on Monday April 22nd at 6pm in
room 206.

*On April 24th, the Cafeteria will have an Asian Inspired lunch.  Everyone is invited to enjoy.

 

* Registration for Summer online classes begins April 15th.  Students need to register online at the Rutherford County website.

 

*Wellness/PE will be meeting in the following locations today:

1st-4th in senior cafe

5th- Jones goes to room 239 Argo goes to 241

6th-Argo goes to 236 Turnham goes to 226

7th-Senior café

 

*The Lady Tigers had a valiant effort against the number 1 district seed, Forrest, losing 9-5. They collected 11 hits with Kali Penny going 4 for 4 and Abby Frazier 2 for 4 with a homerun and two RBI’s. The Lady Tigers will travel to Marshall Co today for their next district match-up.

 

*Middle school Tigers split two conference game this week losing to Blackman 8 to 4 Wednesday and defeating LaVergne 17 to 9 Thursday with two touchdowns and a field goal.  Adam Apigian lead the Tigers against Blackman going 3 for 3 with a walk and 2 runs scored.  Jake Maddox, Jake Hogue, Landon Martin, Carter Long and McClain Martin each chipped in a hit.

 

Against LaVergne Thursday Hayden Griggs, Landon Martin, McLain Martin and Carter Long each had two hits apiece.

Landon Martin had 4 RBI and Hayden Griggs chipped in with 3 RBI.

 

Stat of the week

Jake Maddox struck out Thursday for the first time this year after 34 at bats without a K.  Nice run Jake!

 

*The Middle School Boys Varsity soccer team lost to LaVergne last night 6 to 0. Isiah Richard had 8 saves. The Jv also lost 3 to 1.  Shishio Abram had the goal while Wyatt Kelton had the assist.  Johnathan Warner had 5 saves.  The next game is Monday here against Christiana.

 

*The lady Tigers middle school softball team defeated Lavergne middle 14-2. Gabi Lyons was the player of the game. She went 2 for 3 at the plate with a double and pitched a complete game, striking out five batters. The lady tigers play Siegel middle on Monday.
