*Tomorrow Mr. Jacob Hendley will be here to talk about Guitar Lessons for next school year, and play guitar with you. Join us to learn more about the program and have some fun right after school in Ms. Way-Kiani's Room.
*The high school soccer team will play Spring Hill this evening here at Central at 5:30. The Seniors will be recognized at halftime. This match is between the top two teams in district 11AA. As always, Central Students get in free.
*The Lady Tigers defeated LaVergne last night 8-3. Faith McCaghren gets the win. Jasmyn Stanley went 2 for 4, Emma Tellez was 2 for 3 scoring 2 runs, Kali Penny was 3 for 4 scoring 2 runs with 2 RBI’s, and Abby Frazier had a home run with 2 RBI’s.
Come on out and watch the Lady Tigers take on district opponent, Nolensville, at McKnight Park at 5:30. Students get in free.
*The middle school golf teams lost to Smyrna and Siegel at Stones River Country Club on Monday. Ellis Young and Reagan Warren posted the low scores for the girls. Eli Austin posted the low score for the boys with Collier Pawlowski two strokes behind him. They will play again today at Smyrna Executive.
*The Middle School Boys Varsity soccer team defeated Christiana 8 to 6. Will Kassebaum scored 4 goals while Clay Thompson scored two and Jake Petty and Shishio Abram each scored one goal. Cohen Meredith and Kellen Feltz had 2 assists while Will Kassebaum and Clay Thompson each had an assist. Isiah Richard and Jonathan Warner each had 2 saves. The JV team lost 2 to 0. Jonathan Warner had 4 saves. The next game is here on Wednesday here against Siegel. Game time is 4:30.
*Your Tiger baseball team beat Marshall County 8-7 last night. With a 1 run lead, bases loaded and 2 outs in the 7th, Patrick Norman came in to pitch and slammed the door to get the save. Brady Sengkounmany (Sing-koo-many) and Jacob Moore had great outings on the mound as well. The Tigers will host Marshall Co Today at 5:00. Be there.
