*Attention high school underclassmen:

If you are interested in running for a class office or student body position, you must attend one of the informational meetings.  The first option is Thursday April 18 at 7:30am and the other option is Tuesday, April 23 at 7:30am.  If you have a problem with either date or otherwise have questions, see Coach Nichols and/or consult the high school student council page.  The informational meeting will take place in Ms. Hines' room (102)

 

*Get ready to laugh, cry and everything in between at the 10-minute plays TOMORROW at 630 in the auditorium! Hope to see you there!!

 

*Attention students in Mr. Tang's Chinese level 1, 2nd period, and Ms. Way-Kiani's General Music class: Please stop by the front office to pick up a field trip permission form to visit the Center for Chinese Music and Culture. This is a very special opportunity, so please make sure you pick up the permission to take home and read over with your parents.

 

*Make sure to come out this Thursday at 6:30 for the 10-minute plays in the auditorium directed by the Theatre 3 students! You don't want to miss it!

 

*Interested in learning how to play guitar, or improving your guitar skills? Jacob Hendley will be here today after school to talk to you about the guitar program starting next school year at Central. Please join us to learn more about the program. Interest Meeting will take place in Ms. Way-Kiani's Room right after school. Ask Mrs. Kime if you have any questions.

 

*The Middle School Boys soccer team plays this afternoon here against Siegel.  Varsity game time is 4:30 with the JV game immediately after.  Come out and support the Tigers.  Middle School students get in free.

 

*The Central Magnet Soccer team defeated Spring Hill 2-0 last night.  Goals came from Will Carver and Andre Moriel.   Russell Harper had the clean sheet in goal.  With the win Central moves to the top of the district standings.

 

*The Lady Tigers dropped a tough one to Nolensville, 10-2. Abby Griffin went  4 for 4,  Jasmyn Stanley was 2 for 4, and Abby Frazier hit her 22nd career home run as a Lady Tiger! The Lady Tigers will be hosting Giles Co for Senior Night tomorrow night at 5:30.

 

*The middle school boys golf team defeated Thurman Francis at Smyrna Golf Course yesterday afternoon. Collier Pawlowski led the team with Eli Austin shooting one stroke behind Collier. The girls tied with Thurman Francis with Ellis Young and Reagan Warren leading the way with the low scores.
