*Valedictorians - Please check the senior website for the permission slips and information about filming the speeches for graduation.

 

*Attention high school underclassmen:

If you are interested in running for a class office or student body position, you must attend one of the informational meetings.  The first option is Thursday April 18 at 7:30am and the other option is Tuesday, April 23 at 7:30am.  If you have a problem with either date or otherwise have questions, see Coach Nichols and/or consult the high school student council page.  The informational meeting will take place in Ms. Hines' room (102)

 

*Attention students in Mr. Tang's Chinese level 1, 2nd period, and Ms. Way-Kiani's General Music class: Please stop by the front office to pick up a field trip permission form to visit the Center for Chinese Music and Culture. This is a very special opportunity, so please make sure you pick up the permission to take home and read over with your parents.

 

*Make sure to come out TONIGHT at 6:30 for the 10-minute plays in the auditorium directed by the Theatre 3 students! You don't want to miss it!

 

*It’s Senior Night at McKnight Park. Come celebrate with senior softball players, Abby Frazier, Lorna Hedges, and Sydney Westergard at 4:45. The Lady Tigers will then play Giles Co at 5:00 for their last district home game.

 

*The Middle school boys Varsity soccer team lost to Siegel.  Isiah Richard and Jonathan Warner each had 5 saves.  The JV lost 3 to 1.  Schisho Abram had the goal while Daniel Le had the assist.  Jonathan Warner had 8 saves.  The next game is today (weather permitting) at Rocks Springs game time is 4:15. 

 

*Tigers lost to Christiana Tuesday night 13 to 1, Jake Maddox and Hayden Griggs had hits in the game.

Tigers bounce back with a big conference win Wednesday beating Rock Springs 8 to 1.   Adam Apigian pitched the Tigers to the win going 6.2 innings giving up 4 hits, striking out 5 with no walks.  Jake Hogue, Hayden Griggs, Will Becker and Carter Long chipped in hits, with Carter Long going 1 for 1 with 3 walks and 3 runs scored. Jake Maddox went 1 for 4 with a walk and 4 RBI.

Tigers improve to 7 and 8 overall and 4 and 5 in conference play.

 

*The high school soccer team will play Page HS this evening here at Central.  Varsity kicks off at 4:45 and JV will follow.  As always, students get in free!
