*Congratulations to the participants in the 2019 National French Contest. Of 41, 16 received a gold, silver or bronze medal and an additional 14 received honorable mentions. Great job by and thank you to all who participated.
*Just a reminder... If you have turned in your AP permission form you do not need to sign in or out thru attendance during testing.
*From the Library: Middle school students, your library books will be due this Friday.
For any middle or high school students interested in checking out from the CMS Library this summer, be sure to visit the summer reading tab on our website and fill out the CMS checkout permission form by the end of next week. If you sign up for summer checkout, you may begin checking out books again on Friday, May 17th.
* Friday, May 10th, Rock Springs Middle School will be having their spring fling activities in their back-parking lot. Students, please do not park in the back-parking lot on that day. Thank you for your help.
*The middle school golf team ended their season yesterday at the district tournament. Reagan Warren led the girl’s team and Eli Austin led the boy’s team with the low scores of the day. The 8th graders are looking forward to high school golf in the fall, and in their absence, we will need more middle school golfers next year so go see Coach Cato for information.
*The Central Magnet High School soccer team moves on to the District Championship with a 1-0 win over Tullahoma. Jorge Graniel scored the winning goal with 40 seconds remaining. Russel Harper had another clean sheet with 7 saves in goal.
*The Lady Tigers ended their season with a 5-1 loss to Nolensville. Abby Griffin highlighted the night with a solo home run. Congratulations on a good season.
